Overview

The JUICE CHARGER me is small, affordable and easy to use. This wallbox charging station is subsidised in Germany by KfW development bank funding, and can even be controlled automatically by the charging and loading management system via LAN connection.

It is universally deployable as an 11- or 22-kW version. Whether in the garage at home, at a private car park space or in a carport, or also at parking facilities serving hotels, golf courses, tennis clubs or fitness centres: the possible places for installing this unit indoors or outdoors are limitless.

The JUICE CHARGER me is one of the first wallbox chargers equipped in series production for the charging standard Plug and Charge (ISO 15118-compliant). Yet, activation by RFID, too, enables it to also serve e-vehicles that don’t yet support the Plug and Charge protocol.

The JUICE CHARGER me is listed among electric charging stations eligible for subsidised funding!

Benefits

Plug and Play: The charging station is fully factory-preconfigured and ready for use immediately without any additional setting or adjustment.

Plug and Charge: Once the charger coupling is plugged into the vehicle’s charge-port socket, the JUICE CHARGER me is automatically activated and begins charging immediately. Two RFID cards are available to activate cars that support the ISO 15118 international standard.

As an individual unit: The JUICE CHARGER me is ideally suited for installation in your garage at home, at private car-park spaces or in carports. A power outlet suffices as your private individual charging station.

In multi-unit configurations: Master-slave operation for anywhere from two to 250 units; one device takes control of equally distributing the available current to all the other stations.
The smartJUICE omni-dynamic charging and load management system offers greater flexibility, for example by prioritising feed to specific individual vehicles. Both these cases require use of an optional MID meter (expected to be available from April 2022).

Interfaces: OCPP 1.5/1.6 links the JUICE CHARGER me with the j+ back-end*, (expected to be available from April 2022) and ensures device administration, remote maintenance, billing and load management. The EEBUS standard ensures integration into your home energy management system, enabling you e.g. to charge with electricity produced by your own photovoltaic solar power system.
